Money alone cannot substitute for genuine connection
Money alone cannot substitute for genuine connection. Genuine connection also fueled by conversations, interests, and curiosity.
But we still need money to arrange things; meetings, events, drinks and snacks, or even parking fees.
What happens if I don’t have money to build connections?
One way to answer that is to find money: jobs, gigs, commissions, etc. This answer is naive and may not actionable, because actionable means reliable.
Another way is to find a way to build a connection with the least amount of money so that we can afford it, e.g. coffeeshops, book reading, picnic at the park, even a Google Meet session. The cost will not get eliminated, but it will get reduced and be worth for building, keeping, or strengthening connections. reconnection makes us learn from the past and strengthen the connection by looking forward.
